  • Yesterday, Crystal and I flew kites at Flickinger Park and it was a lot of fun. Crystal's kite was in the shape of an owl with green ribbons trailing behind. It was the cutest kite I have ever seen, but was quite a challenge keeping it up in the air since it was small. It flew crazily at times, but that made things more fun. It turns out, it wasn't put together correctly and that caused the kite to twirl through the air. Once the kite was fixed it flew better, but it wasn't windy enough to keep it up in the sky for long. My kite had a picture of Nemo and it was the standard type with orange ribbons trailing behind. Our kites were less than $6 each, which was an awesome deal for some simple fun out under the sun. We should take our kites to the beach next time.

For lunch yesterday, we ate at Heritage of India where the buffet was only $5. It was an awesome deal and the food was great. After lunch, we walked around Great Mall and then Fry's where we bought our kites. At night we ordered out for Taco Bell and drank a mix of champagne, orange juice and peach schnapps. It was very tasty.
